I've been out there more times than I can count, and never had any problem with no see-ums or mosquitos, I think it is too windy, this brings to mind Loreto Bay and being HOT in the summer, the Magote will be somewhat air conditioned and at times ultra air conditioned.

Yes JR if you go right just before the hill and drive into the Mangroves I'm sure there would be bugs, I just stay away from there. The development doesn't come that far back on the Magote.
