Thanks for the info...
...we just hit $ US 2.279 today (unleaded 87) here in Northern California (Stockton).
The prices will soon 'match' above and below the border - just what the Petroleum Barons desire, I would think!
I doubt if we will see anything below $US 2.00/gallon again!
According to my clock...anytime is \'BAJA TIME\' & as Jimmy Buffett says,

Even though the prices in the old country are dropping, I don't expect to see diesel as low up there as here in Mex.

A couple of places in Lake Havasu City were charging $1.999/gall when I went through there last Sunday. Dropped to 1.85 there now according to
arizonagasprices.com, and a low of 2.01 at one place in Yuma.
Pity, it looked for a moment like it would finally encourage people to get rid of those gas-guzzling SUV's, 4WD's, and trucks...

Superfuels 43 E 5th St according to the arizonagasprices.com site (may have changed by now). Even a Barney's on Hwy 95 is down to 2.08.
Still way too cheap here, encourages waste. For comparison the current UK price is around US$6 per US gallon, similar in most of Europe.

Beware of the Superfuels, it is reclaimed fuel, filtered from the solvent "plugs" they use to clean the pipe lines. The plant is in Parker, I have
done two "head" jobs on cars that had burned a tank of superfuels.

I paid $1.83 for regular unleaded yesterday at Costco in Salt Lake. Of course here, it is only 85 octane.

Better a public corporation that pays stockholders (people) than a wasteful government that... oh, nevermind!

As usual, David K is correct-------
If you had invested in, say the VANGUARD ENERGY FUND, you would have made annualized returns of : 60.6% this last year, or 22.75% (per year) the past
5 years, etc. etc..
Big Oil was really hurting in the 80's----having to merge with other oil companies to keep from going under------and nobody was complaining then about
that. Go Figure!!!
We sure ain't going to find any "new oil" if there are no profits for oil companies----it is just "their turn", this time, and you can share in that,
as stock holders.
Viva Baja!!!!
