Mission San Javier

An Amigo just returned from there delivering food and clothing to Francesca, the lady that takes care of the Mission. He is a good human and so is she.
If anyone is headed to the Mission, she has requested seeds for flowers and plants and vegetables as she has no access to them. Thank you.
Also, I will be heading back down in 3 or 4 weeks so if any of you guys have run across anymore baseball equipment, food and clothes, it is well received and badly needed in some areas. And of course, mosquito repellants. Muchas gracias para todo.
Big discounts at Baja Search and Rescue for contributers to the down south donations.

San Javier Mission

Francesca has a beautiful garden and has been looking after the mission for many years. She also will find homes for contributed clothing and sports equipment. She is a delightful lady and will find you as you wander around the front of the mission. Her duties are unofficial, just a labor of love. If you have not visited this mission you are missing one of the best in Baja.

San Javier

The road to San Javier is just south of Loreto. There is a dirt road on the right that leads to the Mission. It is archeologically spectacular the entire trip. Very good road and springs just below the Mission to take a dip in. Food, beer, sodas and Francesca are all good to see when you get there. Any donations are greatly appreciated.

Just so happens we are cleaning out the seed room. Last year gave it all to Cristobal who took it south. Lots of vegetable, melon and flower seed for the serious gardener. San Javier is a lovely place to tend a garden. Please advise where I can ship the seed to stateside as I have no paperwork to ship seed across the border.
