Baja 'Photo Tours' Web Page Project
I was thinking of ways to make my web site or my many trip photos/ road logs more user friendly...
Last year (2005) saw the most trip photos and web pages I have made... They are still all listed in my 'Baja Notebook' (linked at the bottom of my
posts on Nomad) or Baja Notebook
I want to try a new way to present my trip photos so anyone looking for some ideas on places to see can find them easily without wading through my
years of trips.

Okay, I think I have most of my links to special Baja places in there...
You may find just one photo, or several on more than one page from the link given.
The idea is to help the armchair explorer or the travel planner find a photo of a particular site in my web pages...
Many of the photos are accompanied by travel directions, some even with GPS waypoints.
The main idea is to make VivaBaja.com easier to help with planning your Baja destination with a peek at some interesting sites... You will see and
enjoy much more in person than these photos can possibly convey!

Hi David, I always enjoy looking at your photos but it is a little confusing navigating around. I like Smugmug for photo storage. They use galleries
and its easy to get around. Others like Pbase but the Pbase server goes down often and that is frustrating.
Smugmug is very reliable and well run. Their tech guys are always available if you have questions. There are many reasons for joining Smugmug but
one of the best if you are going to store lots of photos is they have UNLIMITED storage of photos. You can check out my website there but it isn't the
best example cuz I haven't spent much time on it.
You can try Smugmug for free for a week to see if you like it and if you do then use this discount code:
ihjJWx5ZivAO2
and you'll get a discount and I'll get a discount when I renew. What ever you decide I look forward to more of your photos.

Thank you very much Craig!
I am working with both my web host (Dick Van Bree) and with our very own Baja Nomad (Doug) to upgrade my web site and make it more interactive or user
friendly.
I have so much stuff in there, but it is mostly behind links. I fear that much doesn't get utilized unless some time is spent going through the site.
I will let my friends see your site and consider it. One of the plans is to use an album or blog format that I can edit, add, change without using
html.
As it is now, I use a WebTV to make web sites, then my web host converts it onto VivaBaja.com after a period of a few months on the WebTV site.
I made my 'Baja Notebook' web page to act almost like a blog that I can update easily, and it is linked in my web site.
It has links to all the newer trips on WebTV, not yet listed at VivaBaja.com...
I want to get away from WebTV eventually ($21.95/mo) as I also have high speed for my pc along with my phone and TV service.
Again, I thank you!
