Team CABO MAGIC Sportfishing Summary 08-14 Jan 2006

Here is the Team Cabo Magic Sportfishing Summary for the period 08-14 January 2006

45 Striped Marlin
3 Pacific Sailfish
121 Yellowfin Tuna
24 Skipjack
37 Dorado
2 Wahoo
130 Sierra
3 Mako Shark
6 Pargo
13 Boats had no luck

Mostly lovely conditions continue to be enjoyed by guests and residents. A serape wrap & after dinner beverage takes care of the evening chill nicely! Interesting cloud artwork over the water and in the mountains but no rain.

A great assortment of fish caught. Still the occassional no suerte reminding us it's fishing ... Whales and Sea Turtles are an enchanting visual delight for passengers and anglers alike. Fishing grounds are their playground so seeing them is all part of the possiblities during your day aboard!
We acknowledge, applaud and gratefully thank those anglers who understand the importance of respecting limits.

It is an honor and a pleasure to welcome all of you aboard. ALL of you are VIPs to us and deserve our acknowledgement and recognition. This is why we proudly post complete daily catch reports identifying everyone. We also respect the privacy of those guests who ask us not to post their names.

We encourage you to do research in preparation for your trip. We respectfully suggest while here on vacation you not do anything you would not do back home. Chartering a boat from someone wandering the marina with a clipboard or looseleaf book filled with boat photos, or from a booth on the dock, can be likened to buying a watch from a man in a trenchcoat. Our booth is strictly a meeting point at 6:30am for boats that depart from that area of the marina. Our office has been in the same location for nearly four years. Please, think at least twice about something that seems 'too good to be true'. We do not have staff wandering the marina offering to charter CABO MAGIC Sportfishing Team boats for less than advertised on our website. You cannot rent a Hummer for the price of a Volkswagen .. for those of you that don't know the difference in boats "You Get What You Pay For!" We invite you to read VIP Client Letters http://www.cabomagic.com/Letters.aspx sent to us by folks just like you reading this report today, after their wonderful CABO MAGIC Sportfishing experience. Our office walls are covered with VIP Client Photos we are happy to receive.

We look forward to welcoming you aboard too. Everyone associated with CABO MAGIC Sportfishign will do everything possible to make your sportfishing adventure a wonderful experience!

Yikes, where are you hiding those yellowtail. That is quite a haul.
Still bait boiling here in La Playita.
Eric of Gordo Banks Pangas has had to move his palapa to the other end of the beach as the second breakwater has been started right in front of his old place.

Hello Judy,
Thanks for your always smile inducing posts!
The catch is for YellowFIN not yellowtail .. also extremely yummy but a different fish!
No yellowTAIL caught by anyone in the CMSF team this period ...
YellowTail melts in the mouth .. That was the very first sushi I was introduced to in 1982 by a dear Aunt of mine - oh the memories!
Take care, Lori
