Some go while others watch

I've always liked Mcgyver's quote !

However this morning, while getting ready for work... and reading a short article in the paper (on the throne) - while my wife Shing was combing her hair..... My big cat "Thomas Gray" ( aka grey tom cat) had been sitting on the bathroom shelf just hanging out with us in the AM.... (he is very social). All of a sudden, Thomas Gray hurled himself from the bathroom shelf directly into the middle of my paper....

I could say it scared the sh.. outta me, but well...

And Shing, calmly looks over at me with "that look" and says to me.....

"Some go while others watch!"

Guess she likes McGyver's handle too, eh?

djh.

Its all just stuff and some numbers.

Likewise

djh ,I like yours too !! " A days sailing "
Wildest coincidence!! We full time RVed for 16 years and our cat accompanied us all those miles and years from Cabo to the Arctic Circle and Atlantic to Pacific, his name ? "Tomas" !! One of his favorite tricks was to launch his self from an upper bunk on to a newspaper if you were reading it or not. He would take it to somewhere you could not reach and shred it to ribbons, the reason being my wife had used a rolled up paper to swat him with when he was small, when he got to 16 lbs he ruled the newspaper. We filled out unsolicited CC apps & junk mail with 'Tomas Bxxxxx" & he had his own Master cards and Dept.store cards He loved traveling and would wait at the door for his leash to be legal just like the dogs. He was 18 when cancer took him.

Handle

BTW, dhj, I picked that handle because there used to be a person on this and the old Amigoe's board who would post a rebutal to your posts and he kept POing me. Well I found out one day from one of his relatives who did not know me from Adam that he had never even been to Baja. So a quite e-mail to him and he disapeared ( at least under his handle of the time.) So I picked the "Some go others watch" as a reminder to him and others that fate has a fickle finger!
