Hey....I think I can see that spouter coming down the bay towards our bay now!! Baja is such a great place for whales and marine life! I will try to
get out there for a photo-op and post it here.
I do what the voices in my tackle box tell me.

While at Cabo last November for two weeks, on the Pacific side, we watch a whale, heading south east, breaching, then submerging, then breaching, then
submerging. Quite a site. Went on for 15 minutes until got out of sight. Where else?????????????????????

Bob...
...That's just a GREAT picture!
I've often wondered if south-bound Mar de Cortez whales get a bit lazy with their navigation senses and end up heading down into Bahia Concepci?n by
'accident'...
...Or maybe, they are old enough to have memories of years back, when the Bahia teemed with untold numbers of tiny morsels to quench their hunger
panges...and had decided to check it out again to see if the 'feeding grounds' had some how magically returned.
Whatever the reason, it's always a thrill to witness these huge critters in their own 'element'! Several times I have awakened early there on the
playa, when the air is still, and the birds still asleep with heads under wings...when breaking the stillness with the unmistakable 'whooooshing'
sound of a whale's breathing across the Bahia, gets my undivided attention! Grabbing the 'binoc's', it's such a pleasure to watch the progress of a
small Pod, as they make their way in or out of that narrow inlet where you took that great picture.
According to my clock...anytime is \'BAJA TIME\' & as Jimmy Buffett says,
\"It doesn\'t use numbers or moving hands It always just says now...\"
