Wonder what this trail looks like now since the motorcycles have begun using it?

Do you know something we don't. I've only heard of one guy doing or trying it on a mc and rumors of another. I think you would have to be a really really good bike rider to do it.

Who today could hike those trails like the Padres of old and still survive?
Even if you had a mule to ride. They did it without GPS, satellite maps, gasoline, dehydrated food, foo-foo water and the like. They did it day after day after day.

my neighbors say they did it on Rokon's.....I don't doubt it :D

Right now, the highway construction crews are blowing up, grading, and paving over the Camino Real just a few miles from this section you are concerned about some motor bike tracks on. I am not getting what harm they are doing compared to a highway over the top of it is doing???
