looking for a lot in the East Cape area or elsewheres

Hi,
Im looking for a good piece of view property in either the East Cape area, or around La Paz/Loreto.
Hoping to find something that would be a good investment just in case I dont build. And yes, I do have a limit.($35,000)
Thanks

view property on east cape try min $75K and you'll get a starter lot. and the classy ones left are easily $250K and up to a mil.

for $35K try the trailer type resorts Puerticitos, Encantadas, Bufeo, final, gonzaga to BOLA. Etc......

Now if your done laughing, how about this 1/4 acre lot or others on one of the real estate web sites.

http://www.lapaz-realestate.com/Property/160

Maybe my definition of a view is different than others. As long as I can see the water in the distance and not so much overlooking the water.
Also, are their areas in Loreto or La Paz that might fall in my outrageous price range? Because I also see 1/2 acre lots around the airport in La Paz that overlook the bay priced at around $20,000-$25,000. also on the above website.
I have never been to any other area other than Cabo, so I obviously dont know the region all that well.
Any help is appreciated, keep the laughs for your stories around the camp fire.

Comitan, thanks...
I see a lot in La Paz on there for $25,000 that suits my taste. Althought I have never been to La Paz, that will be my next step.
Thanks!

i'd be very wary.....a good honest and correct title search along with notary and closing costs can be worth 1/2 again as much as the purported lot costing $25K!

check tidal zone alignments etc for building limits, Eijido ownership/involvement..................the list is long. Hire the best pro help you can find and that's not any of the gazillions of gringo RE agents lurking around, they're all non regulated, there is no licensing as in the States. Deal direct with an owner and hire an abogado that can get you a good respected notary.

just my $.02 as we are into it right now on east cape with a great sleeper property we found. potential is so hot he's sandbagging primo and beach front while he pyramids the back rows.

Maybe "binocular" water view.

be careful amigo....only 10% down no more money till title cleared by Aa "Notario".....

La Paz is a beautiful city...you will like it. If you're gonna do it, do it yesterday! Lokked at waterfront lots in La Vantana 2 1/2 yrs ago for 40K, today easy over 200K

Buenes Suertes...

Plenty of knowledge on this site, don't be afraid to ask. capt. g

Not sure about the tennis court.....

The drive isnt to bad at all...3 miles off the highway.
They do what they can to the washboared..if you drive really fast you hardly feel em.

Capt Mike talking about driving.....good thing your post is for April 1st...I almost did not catch the joke.

Dorado properties; great local people that primarily have served locals....out of there way helpful.

LaPaz-RealEstate.......I am going to practice what my mother taught me as a young boy.....

Some open advice on what many on this board already know/practice when in comes to real estate... be careful what you share as there are a few lurkers... that are looking for an edge at your peril.
