Ok since you are thinking about buying property there, I think that you should know that the name is Los Barriles.

Leo (a lady), runs Los Barriles Title Services in the location named. However, title services there are not like the US. She will arrange for coverages and the like, but escrows there are not like here. I suggest closing through a San Diego Escrow company if you can. For more information, contact Mary Phillips.

bvinfo@bajaland.com (not interactive, cut and paste in email)

Mary is a real estate agent and Leo used to work for her. She is a good source for all real estate and title questions.

Title Insurance is available through a couple of American Companies. I believe Stewart Title and Fidelity Title write policies there. Many, but not all, titles in the area are insurable. Those that are not are mostly in Town. Mary Phillips or Leo will know.

I found these contacts for Leo:
leobarriles@prodigy.net.mx
Tel: 624-141-0520

These are old, but so far as I know still good.
