4 sale: Truck/ steel shell etc.

Feo pero fuerte. Finally broke down and got in debt on a "nuevon" Taco. Gotta let go of the Redneck Rolls-Royce.

Truck: '82 Chevy Silverado 4x4, 2" lift, 33" Yokohama Geolandars, bull bar, 8,000# winch, J.C. Whitney plastic headliner w/4 speakers and POS radio/cassette, 2nd mill- rebuilt 350, 3rd tranny. Sorry Californians, no cat converter- headers and glasspacks, 2 side exhausts. Mechanically good, needs bodywork if you care. Asking $3,500.

Camper shell by Caravan Tops, Reno. "Bullet proof" or maybe "washboard proof", All steel- NOT aluminum, welded construction- no screws or bolts to shake loose, stop lights, slider windows 3 sides, double cargo doors, lock. Includes removable full length cargo rack- bolts to 3 bar boat rack and ugly blue shag "camper kit" cabinets/bed etc. Should fit most older full-size 6x8 bed PU's. A new one like this will set you back over $3k, see http://www.caravancamper.com/Caravan.swf I'm asking $750

Also have lumber rack fitted with shade cloth for hot weather cruising- $175.

Also (not exactly "Baja") '83 Cadillac Sedan DeVille, no dents or rust, digital injectors-not a guzzler-gets around 20mpg takin it easy, leather. Almost everything works. $1,500.

Located in San Luis, AZ. U2U me if seriously interested in any of the above.

Yep, McGyver's 2002 Taco. BTW, he needs a late model (Japanese or Korean only) mini-van that he can get an electric scooter into easily.

And yep, had to get full coverage. Allstate covers me as far as El Golfo, but not San Felipe. Will have to get extra for that.

Let's try a pic again...

What do they cover you for? Damage to your vehicle, liability to others? This is the second time someone tells me this in the last couple of weeks and would like to understand the terms of this "coverage".

In fact, I question that this is correct - in terms of liability especially. Check out these two links:

Well, I still have pizza insurance, ADA-VIS liability & legal, for the rest of the year. I hope what Allstate means is that my "full coverage" policy will cover damage to me from an uninsured driver in Mexico up to the 75 miles. But, I guess this bears further scrutiny. Thanks for the heads-up, Roberto. If I take the Toyo any farther than that, I will get full coverage Mexican insurance. I'm open to suggestions as to from whom. Lewis & Lewis?

BTW, I still trying to sell some stuff here. Any idea why I can't seem to get another pic up? I'm hitting the browse button, selecting a (small) pic, clicking "open" on the kodak software and code for the pic appears in the browse box, but then when I hit "post reply" or "edit post", the pic does not appear in the post like it did the first time. I tried to post 4 pics then but only the 4th showed up.
