Coleman converta cot.....
I have been trying to get a hold of this cot to take on my dune buggy trip next week and for other camping trips in the future. Light weight and folds
up for travel . Costs about $40.
So far unable to locate one in Orange/San Berdo counties and running out of time now.
This cot has a fold up back (3 positions) and fold down leg area so it can become lounge chair also. I used to have those lightweight aluminum fold up
chairs but they are out of style now and I can't find those either.
Anybody got ideas or know where there is a Coleman dealer who may have one? I tried GRANT BOYS in Costa Mesa but they said two weeks to get one.
Wal-mart, target, big 5, sports chalet ....not there also.

Make sure you have LOTS of padding. Looks pretty uncomfortable without it....

Thanks for your help....a friend was able to purchase 2 cots just now at Sportsmart (?) ....I will not see it until Thursday but WILL bring padding
and a sleeping bag so it will be better than the ground to sleep on....(I hope)....

------a 2" self inflating sleeping pad works great on a cot, IMHO.

rei has cots that are aluminum tubed that collapse/slide into one another and roll up into a small carcy case.nylon webbing is the bed
material.durable and very comfortable and convenient.use with a self-inflating sleeping pad from therma-rest and you are good to go. i think sport
chalet has these cots now as well.cost around $60.00
