For Bob H

Well amigo, here's a Baja lunch you guys missed out on today in Oceanside!

Mariscos Ensenada now serves TIJUANA BEER!!!

Baja Angel enjoyed a carne asada burrito and I had three tacos (fish, shrimp, carne asada)... to wash down we had a mix of Moreno and Guera Cerveza Tijuana and awesome salsa!

Sorry amigo, I asked you under a post you made (see PuerteSitos thread) and saw that you were still on Nomad after... so I presumed you saw my invitation...

>> Bob... How about lunch today at Mariscos Ensenada in Oceanside? <<

It was muy good... and the TJ Beer was a great addition there!

Anheuser-Busch USA holds 50 percent Victoria Beer MX.

Victoria has the reputation of being the "cheesy" beer brand
kinda like Old Milwaukee

You find it in big chain stores at prices below that of other brands.

Pabst Blue Ribbon

By the way, Bob regarding Victoria beer... One of my Oaxaca friends claimed it is the same as Pacifico, sold in southern Mexico... I saw it and tried some in Baja, and it is not Pacifico...

Oh, sorry A-OK... We talked about it before... The place is MARISCOS ENSENADA and it is on the southwest corner of Oceanside Blvd. (exit I-5 go east) and El Camino Real (The King's Highway, LOL) in a strip mall... large parking lot.

Anitas is usually real good, but DON'T order a torta there (where's the beef?)!

Here is my list of drinkable beers in Baja: Dos Equis (XX), Pacifico, Tecate, Tijuana Beer, Mexicali Beer, Bohemia, Carta Blanca, Sol...

I only drink Corona if someone hands me one so as not to be rude... It's funny, because at age 18+, that is what we often all ordered and drank in San Felipe... I first legally bought beer (1975) at the Bar Miramar!

Yah, I wasn't even going to list Sol, but Antonio's wife Lorenia got Baja Angel hooked on it, so I will drink it if it is just sitting there in the ice chest looking lonely... It is last on my list above.
