Sir" In my experience that is a very slow time to fish out of Loreto. I would say that you will have a much better time enjoying the lites and people of Loreto. Skeet/Loreto

Yellowtail, big yellowtail. They are caught on the bottom that time of year, which means close to the sharp rocks and pinnacles. The way I have hooked them and actually got them in the boat was with this rig. 6/0 reel on a stand up tuna stick loaded with 80# dacron and 100# mono leader. 4 to 8oz torpedo sinker, dropper loop riged. Set drag as tight as it will go, drop down mackeral and hang on, with any luck you will be hoisting 40 to 50# yellowtail over the rail, and possibly even a larger one. fishin rich

Thanks for the replies. It sounds like the fishing should be good. I would be happy to catch yellows in December. I don't know any better way to spend the holidays...Thanks again Paul
