Well....tonight I will probably add to my list with the new truck/camper....so many things to forget.....doing last minute packing...coolers...fill tanks with gas / water....


Airplane camping?....now that is very different !!

1977 Toyota FJ-40 Land Cruiser - Place passenger seat forward against dash, place 24" x 5' plywood from windshield to boxes in rear, put foam pad and sleeping on plywood, find a hill and park with nose down so bed is level.:lol:

1979 - 1983 FJ-40 with girl friend and tent.

1984 - 1990 - Toyota PU - with girl friend and shell on PU.

1990 - 1999 Toyota PU - with wife, shell, thicker pad, leg razors, lipstick, hair brush, etc., etc.

1999 - present - Toyota PU with Pop-top camper with wife, GPS, Ham Radio, GRMS radio, Sat Phone, dog, Mountain Dew, bigger tires, lift kit, high lift jack, etc., etc.
