Summer trip....Scorpion Bay

I plan to do a week trip to San Juanico (Scorpion Bay)....pacific side across from Bahia Concepcion...sometime this summer.

Anybody else going this way?

Would consider a drive in from San Ignacio (the north route) for anyone who want's to "kick it up a notch"

SJ=SB on this swell will be a wet dream. however, my dreams don't include +/- 100 others dropping in, fighting on the beach, etc...a dream gone bad:no:. see ya in the norte.......:P

Awwww SHUCKS! Jim, you must have decoded my secret message from your other post! I'd be interested in going down there, and even to take the north road, but I've already got quite a lot on my plate this summer. Not sure I can swing another Baja trip.

Hey... who's going to the El Rosario Festival this year? It wasn't big, but I scored a fun little right hand long board break last year. Let's get together and do a bash on the beach one of the nights of the festival.

Met some surfers at El Rosario PEMEX on the way home yesterday coming back from Scorpion Bay ....they said they had used north road both in and out.....took the "beach" branch of road and it took 2 1/2 hours....sounds like it is not too bad.....may try it....
