While I am at it...Anybody doing a CABO trip? Last time I was there was 1989....so I am overdue for a visit.....before all the coastline is built up!!

Coastline ?

I don't think there is any coastline to see in Cabo. It has become the Condo coast.

Jim, if you have not seen that area since 1989 you will be SHOCKED! A lot has happened during the last 17 years. If I was to visit Cabo I would stay closer to La Paz and take the MX-1/MX-19 loop. You could spend a couple/three days on the loop. Go down MX-1 and stop in El Triunfo, San Antonio, San Bartolo (see the bamboo), Santiago, side trip to Agua Caliente, Miraflores. Then after you blow by Cabo on the super-freeway, go back up MX-19 and check out the coast going back up. Stop for lunch in Todos Santos.

Hey Jim
You are a surfer, right? Well, trust me the surf is still here as are miles and miles of still undeveloped beaches. How long will it be undeveloped.....not long!
So dont listen to all the naysayers.
Yes it has changed but you can still camp in El Tule and several other arroyos and up the east cape there is still plenty of wide open space.
So come on down. Stop by for a cold one.

Cabo -- I'll be there soon

I'll be in Cabo next week -- leaving Wednesday June 21 for 5 days. Just a leisure trip to de-stress from work.

It\'s better down there!
