That looked like a great Father's Day weekend! I sure miss going to Shell Island. With Suzanne's Lupus, we'll need a pop-up trailer along with a V-8 conversion in my Rubicon to keep the trailer floating on top of the sand to our destination. One day we'll join you...

Here's you and Suzanne on Shell Island a few years ago...

By the way, I once pulled a trailer with an ATC out onto Shell Island with my Subaru... No problemo... It's not horse power in that sand, it's floatation... let more air out of the tires.

Here is what you need:
http://www.jeepline.com/store/brandlist.asp?ID=5213

The Power Tank is a product that addresses all the needs of on board air. It consists of an aluminum cylinder of pressurized liquid CO2, which is released as a vapor through a special heavy-duty regulator. The regulator was designed by us specifically for this type of use. The Power Tank can air up tires, run air tools, etc, while out on the trail, the race course, the side of the road, or even in your garage. It is fast, and simple to use. It is lightweight, portable and reliable and it is the FASTEST way to air up tires.

jimgrms,

If you can't afford a Power Tank, here are some actual tests on several compressors (scroll down to the middle for a great graph). The TruckAir HD300 is the best poor man's compressor at around $40-$50 at several places. It does take a lot longer than the big buck ones.
