Bob,
I think ProPenninsula is a great organization. They are heavily involved in organizing the annual Grupo Tortuguero de las Californias Meetings that are held in Loreto the last weekend in January. I would recommend anyone with an interest in Baja California conservation attend. In 2007 the dates are January 26-28th. In 2008 the International Sea Turtle Symposium will be held in Loreto in conjection with the 10th year of the Grupo Tortuguero event. Hundreds of researchers and other people involved with Sea Turtles from all over the world will be in town for that event. It should be interesting.

I agree with everything that Richard said. Great organization, great people.

And Yes the conference in 2008 should be a real eye opener. There has already been a lot of press about this meeting.
