This is the commercial version. For Years the Maxx Meyers Dund Buggy Group went to Pete's Camp every year for a weekend outing. I saw my first one of these there. It was home made using a weedwacker motor. The guy said the first one was tough because it didn't have a throttle, he just three everything in and had a buddy start it as he held the lid on. He used a drill chuck and adapted it to a blender top. It was a riot.

wornout this looks like a good unit and I am very surprised by the price. an electric chimerical blender of this size is almost 600 dollars. this unite right now at northern hydraulics is on special so you get Free shipping.

I just might get one of these thing for BBQs

Some other alternatives.....

........unless you are looking to this for SERIOUS mass production of beverages or it's obvious appeal at parties as a conversation piece.

I have seen hand cranked blenders that mount on any flat surface like a cutting board; basically a C-clamp type mount.

But I think many of us have gone the route of an inexpensive blender and an inverter, since the inverters have become so inexpensive. Pretty easy to find a 1500w inverter for around 70.00us and it allows you to run so many other things.

Personally, checking the oil and adding gasoline is NOT what I want to be doing prior to a cold one.

But, man, what a party producer that gas powered one would be...........:bounce:

Hook's right. I bought the $25 400W Costco inverter, had a $20 375W max AC blender. Hook the inverter directly onto the camper aux. battery, start the motor and voil?, we're blending hood-a-ritas.

The gas powered model secures your postion as camper-who-has-everything though! :bounce::o

Don't drink blender drinks?:dudette::dudette::dudette:
Well maybe not, but,but,but I do!
Just in case, here is a great recipe that came by way of one of those tornado machines at the NASCAR races.
Fill hopper 3/4 with crushed ice.
Add the following to a standard blender:
1-egg
1-banana
2 oz white rum
1/3 cup milk
1/3 cup soda water
1-tea spoon vanilla
2- Table spoon sugar
The race name is Banana Cow.
Real men enjoy it too:dudette::dudette::dudette:

Not like some of the units I've seen in person, but much more inexpensive than those units were however:

And, I like this one.... how about your own INFLATABLE Pub for your party?:

Only 2 oz. rum for a whole blender load??? That's only a 20:1 ratio!

I say make it 6 oz. 151 rum, call it a Banana Bull and you'll have the young heifers following you out for a romp in the pasture! ;D:o:yes:

Yeah Neal........I keep waiting for Camote or Bull or someone to post a photo of that monster! Them were the days! And the reason only "real men" have those things is because us 120# women don't have the arms to pull that chain to start the dang thing! :o I'll stick with my $20 Costco inverter! The "TailGator" much more fun though!

I forgot to say this is our breakfast. (6:00am) anymore rum and we couldn't walk up the damn steps to watch the races.:lol:
I think Banana BULL would work after we cook at our motorhomes or we might starve to or add more more eggs and bananas. May just try that.:lol::lol:
Thanks fo the ideal El Camote
