ZR Night Race

Tunaeater had another good race at the Saturday July 1st night race. Started 3rd row behind 4 pro MCs and 4 pro quads. He got the lead on the expert class right off the start. After the 1st lap he was running 4th overall behind 2 pro MCs and 1 pro quad. Passed the quad on lap 2. On the 4th lap he broke his spot beam light from the pounding and a couple bikes got by him. Still a good race for him. Not sure where he finished. Temp at start time was well over 100 degrees and after dark still in high 90s, but it's a dry heat right. Race was 5 laps on a 15 mile course.

Tom,
Thanks for coming down and thanks for the water on my pit stop. It was nice and cold. It was a hot one for sure. How did the rest of your 4 day weekend go ? Did Bill enjoy it ?

Bill and I had a great time. Bill is more of a hotel type guy but adapted pretty good to the open stars camping. I did a trip report on the Nomads. We were glad to help out.
