A puzzle

This is what I do when I get bored.

A Puzzle

Wandering along the seashore
Smelling the sea breeze
Waves loudly crashing

A solitary hang glider
Like a raven
Riding the thermals

A motorcycle rider
Vision obscured with dust
Storming across a dry desert

A native mountain man
Eyes of a hawk seeing for miles
Surveying his domain

A tourist tied to the highway
Watching the shifting shadows
Flowing over tall mesas and dead volcanoes

Pilots high in the sky
Looking to making sense
Of the puzzle that is Baja

A lone hiker leading a burro
Hot and sweaty
Visiting isolated ranchos

Campers gathered round a fire
Comforting each other
Strange sounds in the quiet of the night

Used up old men sitting in a bar
Vision diminished by booze
Watching life pass by

People in the bays and coves
In palm covered canyons
High up in the wind and snow

Each one seeing a small piece
Of the wondrous puzzle
That is Baja

You must have a new editor...
this is really good stuff.

And, you should share the one you sent privately a few days back, it too is worthy of all to see and enjoy.

ooops, you did say "not for publication" didn't you?
now the cat is out and you cannot put him back until you post....

jejeje

Thank you all for your more than nice comments.

I think the Nomad board represents everything I said with the exception of the native mountain man.

Doug, Thanks for allowing all of us to be and share our thoughts and experiences in and on the place we all love.

Bernie, Thank You,

Of all the poems I have read by you to date, I think this one best expresses what you have been trying to pull out of your soul to share with us. Saludos, Sara
