Rosarito

Hi all,
I'm new to this forum - we're going to San Diego the 16th of Aug. staying at our all time favorite - RBH - there's another hotel which specializes in lobster - what is the name of it? I don't remember it as a fancy place + lobster specials + very good. Appreciate the name. We've a conf. in S. D. therefore we'll be returning the 17th for the remainder of a brief 3 day outing. I'll be crossing the border seeing friends while hubby is attending conf. What place in Tijuana close to the border is a good place to buy some tequila + Contreau (in Spanish)?
Adios,
ChefCarla

Maybe La Fonda (hotel and restaurant). Try www.lafondamexico.com
The place referred to by bajablue (above) is Puerto Nuevo. Can't help you with Tijuana but I've found liquor to be cheapest in grocery stores -- or MAYBE a duty free store?

It's called "Costco." 175 pesos for a bottle of Corralejo Reposado. Can't beat that with a stick.

It is called La Playita and it is 3-4 blocks toward downtown from on the cross street (either 9th or 10th) where Gigante is located on Sanchez Taboada
