Miguel...got it thanks....Check yours!
AcuDoc...You'd have to know John Lara the cartoonist and town clown then? Mike Rose sounds familiar but it was looooong ago! I used to deliver plants
to Mrs. Nelson down at their house in Lagunita...She had a great little green convertible mercedes as well as a killer house on the bluff above one of
the best bodysurfing beaches at Blue Lagoon...

I knew John really well. We went to school together and he was a year younger. Used to do alot of body surfing at main beach together. Another friend
of our Steve Covern used to run the surf mat shop (it was before boogie boards) and we got them for free.
Heard a few years ago John had some bad luck and isn't doing well. Can't remember the details.

Dang...small world it is! You guys surely must know Ken Auster also. He had many of his surfing paintings in the Chart House Restaurants and well
known with the original surfing world. Had many a shirt silkscreened by him! I'm sure we could go on and on about all in Laguna since it was such a
special place to live and work!
Kari....the ex and I had the house on Catalina Street between Legion St and El Camino....the one with all the palms and staghorn ferns all over the
house...It was the dentists home Dr. Henderson when we bought it in 1988 and sold it in 92 to move up to the Kitsap area in PNW.

I've lived in Laguna off and on since 1967. I now live in Capo Beach.
I also know John Lara.......last time I saw him was a couple of years ago at Dana Point harbor. He has some form of nerve damage that is turning him
into a old man. Sad to see him in this state. In the 80's he was a fixture in the Saloon and the Sand Piper. He always had some tall tails to talk
about.
