They're "Close Cousins"!

We're not coming back the same way. We're driving up the gulf on dirt roads all the way to San Felipe. So, we can't be counted on for being traveling companions...

It would be a good idea to email Antonio for reservations if you want the pleasure of staying in his new rooms. motel*at*bajacactus.com

Ken . Unless it's part of your plan , you might want to consider your travel dates as I think its going to over lap with the 1000 exodus

Overlap is good. Last year, we caught a 60 m.p.h. glimpse of many trailered rigs that were like candy to the eyes...

Too bad Chrysler/Jeep doesn't support off road racing the way AMC/Jeep did! There used to be a lot of Jeeps in off road racing (when there was $$$ to be made with corportate support). Remember Roger Mears (Mears Gang) Jeep J-10 Honcho race truck?

Thanks Kris.... Nice red Jeep truck! I talked with Roger briefly in Ensenada and he said it sure was nice to race with a sealed cab and A/C!

Chris:
Just went to my frist Super Stock, Sprint Car Race Since losing my good friend Loyd Beard.
Worked in the Pit Crew for Loyd in His Super Modified # 42, Sponsered him when I was a Snap-)n Tool Dealer way back in the Early 70's.
Sure was great to get back to the Races, These guys back here run Amarillo, Liberal Kansas, Oklahoma City.
Roger Mears was great even in Bakersfield.
