first photos from vinorama on the east cape, along with Barriles and North Beach

This was just sent to us from one of our customers near Vinorama on the east cape road:

Hi EVERYONE (I sure hope I haven?t missed anyone),

I have sent this to anyone and everyone that I thought might have even the slightest interest in seeing photos of the damage caused around Las Vinoramas by Hurricane John. We were not hit anywhere near as hard as Cabo Pulmo, Los Frailes and Los Barriles. This is just what we?ve been able to collect photo-wise, so far. I hope to get to Cabo Pulmo as soon as the Boca del Salado arroyo is passable. We have many friends there who could use a helping hand.

Here?s the URL: http://dprider.spaces.live.com/ Enjoy the photos. They really can?t convey what it was like going through the storm. I will be adding some text to the Blog portion of the web site as time permits. We are understandably incredibly busy with cleanup here and at our neighbors? homes.

Peace,

Dawn & Tony

well from the look of Karen and Leos house I would say there is not going to be much more steel stud building in the area. Can you imagine being in that house as the walls started to peel away.........cinder block all the way baby.

Several homes in that area have been built of steel stud. I am particularly interested in how Paul Clark's home fared. it is on top of a hill, facing the ocean, made of steel studs and totally exposed. I know he is down there but we have not been able to raise him yet to see if all is well.

Thank you Bajabus

It's a terrible mess isn't it?

It is better to have some knowledge of what has come down there....better than not knowing at all.

My heart and prayers go out to all my friends on the East Cape.

I will be coming down in six weeks if there is anything I can do or bring.
