Doesn't look good Corky. I think were both in trouble. A friend Peter just built a new house in Jorges park. Looking at these pictures, his house is under water. What a mess. I hope Gabby unplugged my frezzer. Corky, check your U2U's.

Yep Den, it SUCKS!

Looks like about 6-10 ft o water but it's hard to tell with that photo # 4 it shows the narrows there where the "new road"(not visible) swings up along the rio. The water spreads out below that and becomes fan-shaped as it enters the ocean, slowing it's forward momentum. My worry is my home has been taken completely taken out by debris from up river. The morrow will tell.:(:(:(

Thanks SHARKSBAJA for the update and the pics.
I was dreading that it will be like this, when watching John's track. A nightmare !!
I have been once through a flood, I know how that is like.
Looks terrible, been there in May/June to visit a friend who just moved there. Hope he came thru unharmed.Still no com's with Mulege possible I guess. Tried last night - didn't work.
Wonder if Javier's Place ( Las Casitas) is still operating, as it is(was?) close to the river.
Friends of mine flying out coming saturday to visit our friend in Mulege.
My sympathy and best wishes to all who suffered or still suffer from John.
I wish I could be of any help, unfortunately I'm to far away.
Any casualties?? Any Infos on losses??
Anything my friends could bring out to Mulege ( they fly in from Germany via LA to LTO)????

This looks absolutely horrible. I hope everyone got out safely. I would think that Jungle Jim's is also wiped out.

Anyone out there who can take and upload photos of the Orchard? There are a group of us Casita owners who would really appretiate a look at the nighmare we are all facing.

not 100% sure but

Isn't that the entrance to the Oasis, east of the Orchard. I don't go in from the hwy, I always enter along the rio.

I don't think it's the Orchard as the sign says "swimming" and they don;t have any there.

No, that photo is not of The Orchard. I think it is Marie y Isabel park. That's where Richard Plager (Richard on the hill) lives and he can see his house in the photo. We fear The Orchard got higher flooding. Some reports say "The Orchard is gone". Another says they think "some structures are still standing".
