Warm water, wonderful pithayas and lobster season kickoff

Wow, we had a fabulous boogie boarding day yesterday here in Asuncion. The water was a balmy 75 degrees at least!!! which for here is really warm. Nice long swell building for you surf bunnies too. Today was cloudy, (extremely rare indeed) so we went pithaya picking...yummmy. Lots of pithayas and still more to come for when Zoe and her tribe get here we hope to take them out.

Also our village was a hive of activity today as the lobster fishermen raced to finish making their traps and get them in the water as it was announced the season would start a few days early. Yummy too! I stocked up on garlic today and look forward to my first lobster of the season tomorrow.
