Fishing License

As we are going to be down in November, and my husband is going to be in a fishing tourny by Shari's house, just wondering where we get fishing licenses? Are we able to get them when we get our tourist visa's? What type of line for fishing rods? We are bringing our trout rods (very sturdy) but are not sure about what type of line.

Also what type of hooks are best? I know when we chartered a fishing boat, they supplied everything. Just want to try it out on our own.

Any and all feed back welcome.

Don't worry about the gear, Juan has been slowly gearing up his tackle box and we have a couple rods here. Supposedly they are going to have licenses available at the derby but if I were you, I would get it in Ensenada at the immigration office, next door I think sells them just in case they don't have them here. We've started inviting the kids to your sons birthday party...they are excited. Looking forward to seeing you and be careful driving...slow....

We will be careful, we drive a bit different with the kids in the car. I'm bringing down, horse, dog & cat dewormer; flea collars (how many), 24 canadian beer (what brand)? Anything else?

Can't wait to get there, as we woke up this morning to 2 inches of snow:?:
