Boat Trailer Tire Purchase in San Diego?

Hey Amigos-

I need to pick up a boat tire size 4.80-12 for Juan and Shari in Bahia Asuncion. My time frame is tight as I leave on Friday and my schedule is booked.

Can anyone point me to an inexpensive source near Balboa Park area or south?

Thanks in advance-

Zac

Most Pep Boys, or Auto Zone stores should have tires that size, or Sears auto center should work.

Hey Zac,

Try a Wal-mart, I'm pretty sure they have them already mounted on rims or unmounted in the Auto parts dept. Usually pretty cheap too.

If not there, there's a trailer supply off the 8 and in El Cajon (off at Main and first left - near Off-Road Warehouse) that has anything you need for trailers.

Call ahead to any Discount Tire convineant to you. They either have them in stock or can get them in a day and have them waiting for you.

Thanks everyone-

Called Pep Boys and they don't carry that size anymore...said it's not a common size. But, I called Discount Tire and, as BajaWarrior promised, said they would order one for me and have it by tomorrow morning. Cost $40. I'll swing by on my way to the border.

Appreciate the assistance.

Zac

Have a great trip Zac!

I'm heading south myself tomorrow morning (early) to deliver more materials for my new house below San Felipe and get some work done.
