Paperswork Q: Tourist Card/Car Insurance?

I'm heading down to Baja Sur in a couple days and I want to get my paperwork done before I leave. I don't want to have to stop in San Isidro to get stuff like car insurance and tourist card. Where can I get this done locally or online? I am in Redondo Beach near Los Angeles. Thanks, Ari

Insurance is available, and easy online. http://www.bajabound.com/index.php
Last time I went into Baja Sur we got our tourist cards right at the border crossing, took fifteen minutes for two of us. It could have been quicker but we had to wake up the bank teller, he was asleep on the floor in the corner of the bank.

I've always had fast service and great prices for daily and yearly insurance al Lewis and Lewis.

8929 Wilshire Blvd., Suite 220 Beverly Hills, CA 90211
310-657-1112 or 800-966-6830 - Fax 310-652-5849

For the tourist card it really is easiest to stop in TJ just after you cross the border, go to immigration, go to the bank, and hit the road.
