Couldn't agree more, Bajagypsy. Those pre-Cambrian rock shield lakes are truly a great experience. I wouldn't mind a few trips up there in the summer...but WINTER?....will pass on that.

I hope you enjoy Baja. Where will you be camping mostly?

We will be spending November 12 - 18 at Shari & Juan's then 18 - 24 on a beach near Mulege!! Can't wait, busy packing, It's a long drive, and we do it straight through, so I'm going to have to catch some zzzz as I do the night driving, and hubby drives during the day!!!
