Only one paved way from Ensenada to San Felipe, and it is a good road... Hwy. 3 east past Ojos Negros and Valle de la Trinidad to Hwy. 5... where you turn south for the 31 mile drive into San Felipe. It's about 150 miles and will take about 3 hours. The first 20+ miles to the Ojos Negros valley is slow curvey road, the rest is great.
