Stand-in moderator...

I have asked David K to "stand-in" as moderator for the weekend while I am away.

Edits will be at his discretion beginning tomorrow and until I return late Sunday.

Thanks for your understanding and consideration.

Regards,

I stand corrected. David is not available to do so. My apologies for having misunderstood his availability.

Stay tuned.

no, no, no Diver,
what I had in mind was simply this...
Bernie would get so high up on his soapbox that he would not even gaze down upon the huddled masses for three whole days,
and we could have the run of the place,
and Bernie would have fodder for a new book!

cool idea, no?!

Diver

You, again, have exceeded my expectations. One day, perhaps, you will tell all of us why you have such a need to attack me.

Runner,

My soapbox has turned into a ton of bubbles thanks to friends like you.

Really? "Attack" is subjective I believe. I prefer to look at it as "reality check" O

Is that subjective?
I'd think you'd quote Diver somewhere sometime.

What ever happened to singing "kumbayah" together somewhere anyhoo!

Cmon Bernie....let's play.

Better to reference the domesticated animals such as the donkey, mule and/or burro.

Those poor animals getting verbally abused over and over again. I wouldn't like that others use MY name to express something like the a** or else.

BTW - HOSE means in german TROUSERS/PANTS  (same spelling but different pronunciation, the E at the and is NOT silent and therefore spoken as the E in EvEr)

Yes, I have been exceeding expectations for years now, thanks !!!

In answer to your other question;
Try re-reading our past conversations; particularly your last few posts to me.
The only times we have had any discourse it has gone like this;

1. I see someone acting like they are standing on a soapbox,
2. I poke fun at the perceived arrogance of the soap-boxer.
3. You attack me unreasonably, possibly due to some elevated sensitivities.
4. I respond in attempt to assuage your sensitivities.
5. You attack again with guns loaded.

Maybe there is a pattern here ??
Maybe the soapbox is the problem ?
I know it's not you, Bernie.
I have bought, paid for and read all your books.
Have a nicer day !!

And yes, lets sing "kumbaya" !!

.
