Fire in Tijuana??

From our town, we can see parts of Tijuana. Yesterday, we could see what looked like a good size fire. Today, with Santa Ana winds blowing, there is a brown cloud over the ocean that looks like it is smoke from the Tijuana area??

Anyone there know?

Just Curious

We heard that there was a fire near the border, but have not had the chance to go and confirm it ourselves. When we were down near Puerto Nuevo on Sunday, it looked like the smoke was comming from the east, and south.

I literally just got back from a business meeting at the Otay Border crossing area (3pm). The fire looks to be due south of the border crossing and maybe 4-6 miles south into East Tijuana. The smoke is blowing due west due to the Santa Ana winds.
