Dog friendly hotels in Baja

We have driven to Baja many times and also fly into Serenidad but are thinking of driving down for 10 days at Christmas and going as far as La Paz. We have a 1 year old boxer dog and want to bring her with us. Any thoughts on hotels. We will have a crate for her to stay in and never leave her alone.

On the way down, I know we have stayed with our dog or dogs in the La Pinta in Catavina. I also understand that Baja Cactus will accept dogs.

We have talked our dog into other places---not always easy, but we promise they will not be on the bed and when we are traveling without the camper, we carry a couple of flannel bed sheets and cover the beds to catch any loose dog hair.

Your crate will help

Good luck and please share any other hotels you find that will accept dogs.
Diane

dogs

Thaks for the help. I just called La Pinta Hotels and they said that they take dogs at all the locations except Ensenada. Anyone have any other suggestions for La Paz area? How about La Concha?

As noted through the link from Diver, Jack Swords recommended the Hacienda de Cortez in La Paz.

Lots of places will let you take your dog. Just stop along the way, find places that you seem to like, and ASK... that's all it takes.
Post a trip report when you get back.
