I will be south of you, mostly. A few days in San Carlos, maybe 5 days in Mazatlan, a day or two in Alamos, two days in Tucson and then somewhere in San Diego for n.y.e.

Hey, San Diegans, anything exciting happening in your town for n.y.e??? We are looking........

Darn it Paula, we have to drive to Loreto. Be there for Christmas eve. Have ten days, work on the house, and maybe get to Agua Verde for a nite. Visit friends, and fish? Depends on the wind. Come by and say hi, Calle Davis corner Rosendo Robles. "Alamo" entrance. Phil and Kim

I'm staying in Salt Lake City until after my wife's birthday Jan, 15. After that I head for the East Cape for two months of camping on the beach without her. I'll return to Salt Lake around the 1st of April, and then we'll both head to our timeshare in Mazatlan on April 9th. I'd like to go to Baja at Christmas time, but
I don't want to push my luck. My wife's a real sweetie to let me go in January.
Someday she'll retire and we can both head down in November and stay through April.

Leaving tomorrow for my beach house below San Felipe with friends for a work party on new house, coming back home on the 24th to spend Christmas with my Dad, my Fiancee, and family in San Diego.

Heading back to the beach house on the 26th with my Fiancee and her son, coming back home on the 2nd of January.

Heading back to the beach house on the 3rd with my 16 year old daughter and her friends, coming back home on the 7th.

Now all I need is to go out to the money tree so I can pay for all that fuel!

We'll be going to the Yucatan this winter. The airfare was just too good to pass up - I bought tickets way back in August. We'll be splitting our time between Tulum and Isla Holbox. I will miss visiting Baja with my new dog. Here's hoping the weather turns out to be nice - in the Yucatan for us and in Baja for all you guys.

Check out Campeche if you get over that way. There is a good little seafood restaurant a 1/2 block from the main plaza. It is just inside the city wall by the old Puerta del Mar. Neat town, especially if you are into pirate history, etc..

Uxamal is close as well..

I'm heading down to Baja just after the first of the year.. I hope all the yahoos will be heading home by then..

I've been to Uxmal before. That was one of my favorites. I've never been to the town of Campeche, but that picture reminds me of Merida which I liked. My schedule is set for Tulum and Holbox - you have to reserve stuff way ahead of time if you want to be there during early Jan. We'll only be there for a little over two weeks, so there will be very little rambling around this trip. The farthest we'll probably venture is to Chitzen Itza, Ek Balam, and maybe a bit into Sian Kaan.

Sian Kaan is wonderful. We took an ecotour panga and the birding was wonderful. Log sign accross from San Francisco Market, biologist and great crew.

Talum at sunrise, unbelievable.
