That's a pretty sweeping statement. The Nazca lines in Peru, Buddhas in Afghanistan, clearly Mt. Rushmore & Stonehenge are all just litter?

As was posted above the shell piles were from illegal (Japanese as I recall from talking to the Mgr. at Kuyimita) fishing.

Like Bruce said...beauty is in the eye of the beholder... whatever the source..or con permiso de whoever in the first place without asking the local populance. Most locals there thought of it as an eyesore for years now.

Maybe we can paint the Grand Canyon next? Or redo The Painted Rocks of New Mexico?
