Leaving a 6x10 trailer in a safe place

Greetings all...

Many thanks in advance for any help. I am heading down to Baja Sur after Xmas in my Sprinter van pulling a enclosed 6x10 w/my motorcycle/kayak. I am wishing to store it safely for a week or so as I will drive my girlfriend back up to San Diego for her fight home.

I dont have any fixed plans for places to go, just want to explore. Was possibly going to ferry over in my van to mainland and drive to Panama. Taking the trailer to the mainland and beyond seems like a big a hassle. Any thoughts on that?

Should I just leave the trailer at a decent campground and pay the weekly fee or whatever? Is there a good storage facility somewhere around La Paz etc?

Sincerely,

Chas
