alibike,

Did you try the other antenna ports ?
Seems the rear port is for the local antenna and the front-most one is for a long distance antenna. They don't work well the other way around.

Diver!
Been in Todos Santos stealing connections! Got to move quick or they'll find you. Wrote back to the place I bought the card and antenna and they said the problem sounds like either the antenna or the connecting wire. I have to send it back.

The following site is where you can buy the adapter pigtail for the Senao card. There is also a velcro protector for the connector you should also buy Read it all.
The unit takes a MMMCX connector which is not std and weak(small) Copy and paste the site.

I have asked a couple of Best Buy mobile 'Nerd Squad'... experts... about using wireless. They say that it is 'possible' that your wireless connection to an unsecured hotspot COULD be at risk...but very UNLIKELY and ONLY by a VERY highly-skilled hacker who would have to be lurking nearby.

I am now worried about a professional hacker hanging out at the mall food court who wants to steal my wife's cookie recipes.

That guy at the next table looks suspicious...and somehow familiar, too?....ah...opps, that's my reflection.
