Laguna Percebu & Local Desert

Again, for the Percebu & Shell Island fans! Weather was cold! Days 70 & nights low 50's. This over New Years. Lots of parties up & down coast!! CHeck out cactus in local desert!!

Shell Island was empty with only a few day trippers. Gill nets up & down the beach.

Sand and Scheisse

The Normal January Weather Regime has returned. The only days without substantial wind this week were a Breezy Wednesday and a perfect Thursday. Starting early Friday a.m., the winds continued to freshen until we reached gusts in the 40s and 50s ALL Night Long. Both Saturday and today "seemed" to hold promise of moderating wind, but then and NOW, the wind started coming right back. Looks like another Bad Blow. A good time to be somewhere else, but you'd have to drive through the Blast to get there.

This, TOO, shall pass.
