Pacifico

For starters, there was the Escalera Nautica. Being yachtless, I don't have much of a problem living with that.

And then those hotels on El Mogote. Well, the reflections of lights on the Ensenada de Los Aripes will undoubtedly brighten up the night.

But now there's that big sign on the facade of our neighborhood Modelorama--Buy two six-packs of Pacifico in the can and they'll give you a free CD.

PACIFICO ENLATADA! That's obviously what they're plannting to lure us into accepting. Pacifico in a friggin' CAN!

I might have to give up beer.

Sure, those are 'Ballenas'! The bigger question is: are they in Scammon's or San Ignacio Lagoon?

Here's one solution to beer in a can...

Might be kinda hard on a boat, though. :)

Ballenas

Actually David, that sign was somewhere around Magdalena Bay so I guess they are the "Mag.BayType. Still Ballenas though and that's what counts.
Glad to hear you had a safe trip and back home. I am still reading about it. Getting thirsty ?

Ski--Are you implying that I made this up?

It isn't a billboard, but a holiday offer hand-painted on some kind of white fabric and draped across the front of the Modelo place on Abasolo going into La Paz, where they sell cases of beer and let you borrow tables and chairs.

The big Tecate beers are 'Turtles' (Caguamas)... Pacificos are 'Whales' (Ballenas)!

Yikes

I am beginning to see where all the strife comes from here. Lera, I was only implying that you were one of the few that knows what they are talking about. Sorry for any confusion in my statements.
And Jesse, it's not just the Mexicans who appreciate Pacifico !
