Mexico Expo on March 3rd in San Diego

Hey Nomads,

I wanted to invite you all to next week's "Mexico Travel and Real Estate Expo" (see our banner at bottom of Nomad page). Doug has given me permission to post this notice.

Any Nomad who emails me or responds to this thread will receive free admission. Just give me the names in your party and you'll be on the guest list at the entrance.

The expo will be held at the Del Mar Fairgrounds on Saturday, March 3rd from 10am-4pm. If you go to the website you'll see who will be exhibiting.

We are also giving away door prizes including two roundtrip tix on Mexicana, a fishing charter in Cabo, hotel stays including a couple free nights at Antonio's Baja Cactus Motel, rides on the Tijuana-Tecate train, and much more. Also, fellow Nomad, Keri of Pyramid Resort will exhibit.

There will be five 30-minute presentations during the day:

11am - " Puerto Vallarta - How to by Real Estate" - Venegas Worldstar Realty
Noon - "Health & Medical in Mexico " - MedToGo Guidebooks
1pm - "Rocky Point the Destination" - Sandy Beach Resorts
2pm - "Visit Baja California " - Baja California Secretary of Tourism
3pm - "All about Tequila" - Guillermo Sauza of Tequila Los Abuelos

I hope some of you can make it and if you do, please find me an introduce yourself if we haven't already met.

Thanks,
Ted

Sorry BajaGeoff, I forgot to mention your BajaBound Insurance Services will exhibit at the show. Also, Hugh and Carol Kramer will exhibit Discover Baja Travel Club. Hope everyone will say hello to another fellow Nomad.

I have everyone above this message on the guest list.

We just received a couple more great prizes including a copy of Bruce Berger's new photography book from SunBelt Publications, a two-night stay at Hotel Coral & Marina, original art work from Galeria Perez Meillon in Ensenada, and a two-night stay at Sandy Beach Resorts in Rocky Point.

Looking forward to seeing you all,

Ted

Just a quick note on the Mexico Expo. Graham Mackintosh will have a booth at the event promoting his books and possibly some of Sunbelt's other books.

Also, Araiza Palmira La Paz will donate two three night stays at the hotel and Roger & Jean's Villa Bahia in LA Bay is offering two free nights.

Hope to see some of you there,
Ted

Ok, hopefully we'll see alot of you out there tomorrow.

We just received permission to have tequila tasting with Tequila Los Abuelos. The owner is the grandson from the Sauza family. Could be a busy booth.

For anyone planning to attend - be looking/asking for us near the end of the event, sometime shortly after 2pm - until 4pm, which is the closing time for the event, is when we're planning to be there.

Got some Little League events to attend to earlier in the day today.

Good to see David K, Baja Angel, Phil C, BajaGeoff (Baja Bound Insurance), Graham, Keri (Pyramid Resort), Hugh and Carol Kramer (Discover Baja Travel Club), Celia Diaz (Binational Emergency) and many others this afternoon at Ted's Mexico Travel Expo.

Thanks Ted for allowing Nomads entrance to the show gratis.

I heard some folks had asked if I was around earlier in the day, and am sorry that I was not able to be there until later in the afternoon before closing (2-4pm).

Regards,
