Seeking anyone who lives full time in the Santigo,or El Chorro areas

Hi All,
We are looking for anyone who lives full time in the Santigo or El Chorro area. Looking for info on the possibility of a house swap,or just more specific info on owning land . Is it possible in this area or is it striclty land trust. Are there properties for sale or rent? What is the gringo population like, large, small?? We own an old adobe in the mountians of Jalisco, and would consider a house trade . We have alot of intrest in the east cape area and would like to hear some first hand knowledge about living there. Thanks for your time . My e-mail is karenk@usa.com Sincerly, Karenk

Karen, I have a friend who just bought a house in Santiago = $23,000 U.S. don't think you'll have much luck with the trade deal -- people here, love it right here. There's a small block Mexican house with a view of Palmas Bay in Buena Vista for $70,000 U.S. Here it's land trust or presta nombre.
