You pay in advance for a vehicle, boat, an education, all means of transportation(bus, ferry, air). There's something about paying for "labor" in advance that requires a lot of trust, north or south of the border.:bounce:

Well, yes we have strayed. O.k., lets see how we can get back on track, at least sort of, anyway.

You know besides Colonial Cities, I have tripped (but never really fell flat on my face), wandering around building projects. Did ya ever think about all the rubble produced when building something brand new and how as a homeowner you paid for that material new and now it is being tripped over and tossed? One of the things that still drives me nuts about building is how can we recycle all those broken blocks, tiles, rebar, cement patties etc., etc.. We are talking tons of waste per project. Ni Modo.

Well dang it all anyway, Kate, I have strayed away enough on jdtrooter's thread that was originally about their wonderful faith in and praising the honor of a man who is building for them. So I will think on this a bit and take my answer on rubble to a new thread - look for escombro.

Yep Larry, And that is one of the things I most love about this country. The freedom to fall on my face and take the responsibility myself for having done so.
