Baja 707 trip web page finished!
The July, 2007 Baja trip with Baja Angel, The squarecircle, and other Nomads that you might have seen photos from in my seven part trip report is the
subject of a new web page...
Fewer photos than the Nomad report, but each with captions... and a road log for the trip out to Shari's place and back via Abreojos in addition to
the 'Distant Pacific' road log is included...
Just finished, and there may be changes or additions based on your input on this first version...

The pleasure is ours.... Lot's more interesting Baja trip pages are in my web site (www.VivaBaja.com) grouped by the year. Baja Angel's first trip with me was New Year's weekend 2005.
I saw your question on Bahia Asuncion... Perhaps a map of Baja of our entire trip pointing to the places photos were taken would be helpful? There is
a roadlog from Hwy. 1 to Shari's place in the new web page... if that helps a little. Asuncion is a bit over halfway down the Pacific coast of Baja.

Thanks for the report, and particularly the territory that is off-the-beaten-path.
My conclusion is that there are no "must-see" sites on the more remote Pacific coast and Vizcaino peninsula. A visitor with limited time should stick
to the well-reported locations that are generally close to Highway 1, including many that you visited on this trip (Conception, Mulege, San Ignacio,
plus all the other sites along Highway 1 further north that you have reported on previously.)
Do you agree with my conclusion?

Hello Intrigued and welcome to Nomad!
Limited time means you pick and chose what places to visit or stay at... Your first trip to Baja of a week or longer is probably best used to get an
idea of "what's there" then future trips can go to specific places of interest.
Take me for example, I visted the remote Pacific (7 Sisters) area and part of the Vizcaino Peninsula for the first time, last July... and that is
after 42 years going to Baja! That's why I say 'so much Baja... so little time'!
If you read bajaboy, jdtrotter, diver and others you will see that there is a lot out the Vizcaino... primarily for the fisherman... but it is
interesting enough to check out in the future.
The remote Pacific coast north half (Santa Catarina to Faro San Jose) can be on the bottom of the 'must see' list, IMO... The southern half, Bahia
Corbin to Punta Rosarito is mostly very easy to get to, has nice beaches, and if the water was warmer or the fog stayed away, would make nice camp
sites.
You can tell that I prefer warm water and sunny skys, so I like the gulf side better... south of San Felipe, Gonzaga Bay, L.A. Bay, Las Animas, San
Rafael, Bahia Concepcion...
