Eldorado In San Felipe currently Closed to RV's

I called last week to see if I could make a reservation at Eldorado in San Felipe (we had stayed there several years ago) and was informed that the RV park was now condos...They said that they are building a new site but it won't be ready this fall. Has anybody stayed there recently. We thought it was kind of nice for a rv/time share place with the warm endless beach. Can anybody reccomend another place in San Felipe that is nice. We like the pool/ bar kind of deal.

Regards,

I live in El Dorado and the RV Park is in deed gone. A new one is suppose to be built but won't be on the Sea of Cortez and the tractors have not shown up yet. The RV Park served its' purpose of providing a place for RV'ers to park while they looked at lots that could accommodate an RV. EDR is really no longer catering to the RV crowd. They want buyers who want to build a house on the golf course or build vacation home.

There are other RV Parks in San Felipe but none as nice as the one that was at EDR that offered the peace and quiet and security.

Wornout is correct, no RV park anymore at El Dorado Ranch:mad:, at present they just want you to bring your $300,000.00 and buy a condo or have their construction company build you a house. There are some nice RV parks near San Felipe or south of there. It will just take you some Internet research.
