Money/Credit Cards/Travellers Checks

My husband and I will be vacationing in Loreto for 8 days this May. Is it better to have American dollars, pesos, credit cards, or travellers checks? Thanks.

I find that pesos work the best. that way your sure of the exchange. I've seen gas stations have an exchange rate two pesos less that the real rate. ( Mulege)
If your carrying allot take traveler checks and cash them at a bank as you go.
Have fun Mick

Getting there is ALL the fun!

I don't like to carry more than a few hundred dollars in cash at one time, (and use Pesos whenever possible) , if lost, your up "SC"!..... If you will be traveling where there is a bank I'd use the ATM's (Mulege doesn't have a bank) You might also ask at local campground type places if they except "Pay Pal", prior to arriving of course.
