Shore fishig SF to Gonzaga?

Please tell me the best tackle to bring for some shore fishing in the San Felipi area and below. How light, the best lures, and should I have bait of some sort? Thank you. Barney

Since you never know what you'll hook up I would think 10# test would be the minimum. Crocodiles always seem to work well, and I have had some luck with medium diving Rapala bass plugs. Squid always seems to work, or when you catch a small spotted bay bass, cutting it up also works well for bait. Tight Lines

Heavy action spinning rod, 15# test, sliding sinkers and frozen squid.

The fishing starts getting better right after Puertecitos.
