EL VOLCAN GEYSER

From what I read in the baja adventure book, this geyser erupts once a month. Does anyone knows WHEN?

I'm going on an 8 days trip tomorrow(sat) and thinking to check it out on my way south, before stopping by Patchen's cabin.
Thanks

I wish it was a predictable eruption... I would make a special trip to see that!

When LdB and I camped there in 2000, we talked a lot about setting up a month long camp with cameras all ready to capture the exotic event. We were actually camping by the white spring slope the road passes by and not up the wash were the geyser (onyx dome) is.

Sarah and I found it last April (2 pages with photos): http://davidksbaja.com/403/page13.html

(El Volcan is listed in my Baja Index to find it again, quickly)
